Eternally Minded

God is the same God in the past history of the Bible, as He is this very minute. What He promises, He keeps. What He does, lasts forever. His faithfulness endures forever. His character never changes. We have the entire Bible proclaiming who He is and His promises to us. Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will remain. (Psalm 102:25 & 26)   - He REMAINS Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God. Proverbs 10:29: The way of the L ORD is a strong hold to the blameless, but destruction to evildoers. It struck me when I was reading this verse in my devotions, that, indeed, this verse is so true. As Christians, the Christ who saved us is the same Christ who will punish the wicked and doom them to an eternity in Hell. But why? The truth is, God is holy [perfect/separate: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!
